I just have one thing to say to the bike-riders:
"Get the hell out of my way. Now."
If I had the disposable income to afford a good attorney, I'd probably make an example out of some of these people.
Yeah, yeah, I know: You're saving the environment by conserving natural resources & reducing pollution, which is great. It's a very healthy lifestyle choice in the sense of exercise, but it's also a very poor lifestyle choice in the sense that road rage can kill you.
- Getting stuck behind a bicycle on a busy road, with your spedometer barely moving, is unsafe for drivers & cyclists alike.
- It's unfair to subject hundreds of drivers & bus-riders stuck behind you to move at 15 mph or less simply because you're in the way.
- Traffic crawling behind you is increasing pollution exponentially.
- Follow the same rules of the road & most drivers will respect you. Snake through lines of traffic to cut us off & you're just baiting motorists & begging for trouble.
- Most importantly, don't try to "make a statment" of your lifestyle choice. Nobdy cares. All you're doing is turning others against biking & cyclists.

I like bikers most when it's raining in January and I'm on my way home in my car with the heating on...
